Following this post early. This post has a little same with the first one. But this is for folder.


Yup, theres some words that cant saved in notepad / folder.


Try to make some new folder. Right click > New Folder. Then rename the folder with con. then Enter.


The folder cannot be renamed.

How to turn USB flashdisk: 1GB to 2GB

Download this file here . its only 94kb.

As finish donwload the software, just run this following:

1. Format Flashdisk into FAT system.
2. Run the software
3. Choose where the location of flash disk.pilih lokasi drive Flashdisk
4. Click Fix, then OK
6. Then right next to OK again 2 times.
7. Unplug your flashdisk then plug again..

If success your flashdisk will turn to 2GB..

How to repair broken thumbnail

Have u ever seen this problem in your windows?

As we see in this pic that the thumnnail not appear as always. You can resolve this with manual steps. With Right click on middle screen. and choose View > Thumbnail.

But in other case, that thing not work. If your windows has error on the registry / system.

To solve around this problem,  just add the ShellEx keys and the corresponding values for the image files to windows registry. Go to:
 

  1. Start > Run, then type regedit

  2. In Registry Editor, go to this following keys:  
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes

  3. Click .gif

  4. On the Edit menu, point to New > Key

  5. In the New Key #1 box, type ShellEx, then press ENTER.

  6. On the Edit menu, point to New > Key again

  7. In the New Key #1 box, type this: 
       {BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}
      Note The above key name contains zeros, and not the letter O

  8. Press ENTER.

  9. In the right pane, right-click Default > click Modify

10. In the Value data box, type the following:
       {7376D660-C583-11d0-A3A5-00C04FD706EC}
      Note The above value contains zeros, and not the letter O.11. 
      Click OK. Then restart your windows..^^

Note: you can do the same thing with other format, like .jpeg, .tif, .png and similars..

Secret "melody" in windows xp

lately i found the mysterious melody that hidden in windows xp. Actually i really dont know what, where or when this melody are using for..:D

just check it out then..

Go to Start > Run > type C:\windows\system32\oobe\images\title.wma

  

Is there everybody knows what are this melody using for, or in what moment? :D

Words that cannot saved in Notepad

Notepad is the standard utility to create the simple document in windows,besides Wordpad. I prefer choose this program to the small case rather than other program similary.

This program also has expanable other function needs. ex: to create html website, create system registry, movie subtitle, DOS command, etc.even Viruses can be created by this program. ^.^

But did you know, thats some secret in Notepad, which some text cannot be saved there? :D

If you're not sure, just try to type this text in your blank page in Notepad: bill fed the goats then save the file. Now reopen this document and see what happens... :D 

The other words that can't saved: bill sux dog dicks  <
Now, you will able to guess somethin, WHAT or WHY the words couldnt saved. is just because remember WHO is the people behind this name >>. "Bill" (Bill Gates)

I've tried this in Adobe Photoshop CS and CS2. How it works? and What its happen? ^_^

Now go to: Help > about Photoshop..

remember it well what you've just seen, now close the screen and re-open the menu with this combination on keyboard: ALT+CTRL . Hold that key, then once more go to Help > about Photoshop..

If correct, the screens will show the Adobe Space Monkey  :-D

How to boost internet speed in XP

If you're using Windows XP Home edition or Win XP Profesional. This trick may useful to speed up your internet bandwith. ;-)

In windows xp, there's a service named QoS ( Quality of Service), which are using to assure whether your network working well or not. But in the fact, it thats all are not too useful, because it may cuts internet bandwitdth until 20%. If you're not sure just compare it well before / after this trick  :-D

The trick are very simple:


FOR WINDOWS XP PROFESIONAL
1. Just go to Start > Run > type gpedit.msc. Hit enter
2. Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > QoS Packet Scheduler 
3. Double click Limit Reservable Bandwidth
4. Check Enable, then put value 0% .OK

FOR WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION
1.  Go to Control Panel > Local Area Connection
2. Go to properties. In tab General, uncheheck the QoS options .OK

MOZILLA OPTIMIZE SETTING
1. Type about:config in firefox toolbar. then hit enter.
2. The configuration will appear. To change the parameter double click the setting
3. If the data inputs below doesnt exist. Just add it with right click > New. (for the number value choose interger. For the true/false choose boolean.
